A University of Michigan Dow Fellows Team partnered with The Ann Arbor Area Transportation to explore a public-private partnership to supplement and enhance the current public transit system in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The team researched the economic, social, and environmental costs and benefits of different ride-hailing public-private partnership models to determine which model could best be used to cover under-used bus routes and connect riders to transit stops.

A University of Michigan Dow Fellows Team explored whether collective, place-based approaches to green stormwater infrastructure installations results in joint stormwater credits towards fees in residential neighborhoods. The team collaborated with Michigan Community Resources and Eastside Community Network in the project based off of the city of Detroit.
